Shopping List Deluxe Screen Shots

Here are the most used Shopping List Deluxe screens.  Click on an image to expand it.

This is the Shopping List Deluxe main screen.  Basic list items are displayed on the left and the current shopping list is displayed on the right.   Double clicking on a basic list item adds it to the shopping list.  The circled "C" represents items that have an accompanying coupon.

Toolbar buttons across the top provide easy access to commands that are frequently used for the two lists.

A "Find" box below the basic list supports easy searching for items in your basic list.

The main screen is resizable to let you see as much of your basic list as you'd like.

You can preview your shopping list before you print it.  You can also control the number of columns, font selection, page margins, and borders for the aisle numbers.

Create a map of your grocery store in three steps.  Add aisles to your new store, associate the built in store locations (by dragging and dropping them) with the aisles in your store, then arrange the aisles in an order that reflects how you travel through the store.

You can also print out the store locations and aisle assignments, then take them to your grocery store to make note of any changes that are necessary.

Maintain a list of recipes that you can use to create your shopping list.  Each recipe can be associated with a source and zero or more categories.  Rank your recipes on a scale of 1 to 5 or 1 to 100.  It's up to you.
Modify recipe ingredients and source/category information.  Set the number of servings, prep and cook time, as well as a ranking.  Recipes can be printed and given to your friends.  If they too have Shopping List Deluxe, you can export them in a format that can easily be imported again.
When constructing your shopping list, start by selecting a set of recipes that you'd like to meet.  You can use attributes like source, categories, prep and cook time, or ranking to limit the list to just what you want and have time for.

When you've selected what you want click the Add to List button.  All ingredients will automatically be added to your list.  You can instruct Shopping List Deluxe to ignore ingredients that you always have on hand (like water) or buy in bulk (like flour).

If you have a Palm OS device, Shopping List Deluxe will send your shopping list to the Palm.  It also comes with a special Palm program for displaying your shopping list and recording the fact that certain items have moved since you developed your store map.

When you re-sync with your PC and launch Shopping List Deluxe, you can easily update your store map based on the changed information you recorded on the Palm.
