SmartSquares

SmartSquares is the first game in the game collection from Spitting-Image Software.

SmartSquares is a "kid-size" version of the once popular TV game show "Concentration".

The game involves a collection of square buttons displayed on the screen. Behind each button is the picture of a cartoon character. The same image is also located behind one of the other buttons on the screen. The goal of the game is to find as many of these picture-pairs as possible, and preferably, more than your opponent.

Ages

You are old enough if you can move and click a mouse (or point at the screen if someone else will move the mouse for you). Teenagers will probably find the concept somewhat "beneath" them, but will enjoy extending the game to support addtional image and sound sets or playing against the clock.

Features

The features of SmartSquares version 1.0:

Use one of several sets of images.

Sound support (requires a sound card):

	unique sound file for each image displayed
	different sound files played when images match and when they don't
	players turns can be announced
	end of game can be announced
	winning player can be announced

Player's names and scores are displayed along with the images they've collected.

Hidden image slowly revealed as matches are made.

The hidden image can be printed once completely displayed - perfect for coloring.

Two individuals can play against each other or one can play against the clock.

Fully expandable to include images and sounds that you create or collect from the Web.
